It's Capricorn season so we get to embrace the deepest sea depths and the highest mountain peaks ALL AT ONCE!! And here's what's coming up for me that couldn't be more perfect and reflective of the energies of our collective!

The healing journey is an interesting one! As you walk through life and you meet a spiritual awakening you start seeing things a little differently. First, you might see the miraculous beauty of it all. The love! The light! And it is SO intoxicating. Many of us need the reminder that this light exists. For many of us, it is this light that brings us out of our darkness.

So there you are, basking in this light and it feels so GOOD, so radiant! It is absolutely amazing and you never want to come back down. You are just going along and riding the high and you're not letting anyone knock you off of it! Go you!!

You did it! You cleared so much trauma, so many fears. Brought these things to the surface to be loved and alchemized into your gift for the world! You asked for change and here it is! You are THRIVING!!!

What is that??? WHAT is that?

Ah shit, it's my shadow.

My past patterns, my past pain, my past relationships of all kinds. Showing up. Right on the surface!

You think you've done the work and now it's all smooth sailing in these highs! But you forgot that those highs, like everything, are not a constant, and you are met with a heaping load of grounding reality. (Thanks Capricorn. Thanks Saturn.)

We must be humbled when we get too high. We must be lifted when we get too low.

We must be reminded that change is a process of destruction and creation, death and rebirth.

Now you're "back at square one." Or so it feels.

Maybe you've been met with roadblocks that blindsided you. Maybe you've reverted back to some of your old ways and habits. Maybe you feel as though every past version of you is trying to break through to be alive once again.

You try on every single one, like wearing a mask. "Is this a good fit for the new me? This one? This one feels familiar - is it correct?" You go through each one and integrate whatever hasn't been loved and accepted. And just like that, the masks fall off. And you're left with the completely unfamiliar.

None of those can be the new you. Trust the process!

You keep asking for change because you can't see that it is already happening. Being met with your entire past does not mean you're going back there. It's a way of finally embodying all of those parts of you that you struggled with, so you can bring ALL of them with you to this next chapter.

When you bring them all you get to be whole. A whole YOU.

Being met with your entire life falling apart is not a sign that you chose incorrectly. It's the change you asked for taking place in real time.

Each time you are met with this shadow you will be asked to burn down what once was and allow what will be. The shadow is dark, cold, and mostly uncomfortable. But it is FILLED with all the things you do not see. Your infinite self. Your infinite love. Your infinite wisdom. Your infinite creativity.

It is nothing to be feared.

You can choose to dive into the shadow, or life may use the shine of your own light to reveal the darkness to you when the time is right. The brighter your light illuminates the deeper you can walk into your shadow to pull up what has yet to be loved.

If you feel like you've completely turned into transitional mush and are being squeezed through a piping bag, coming out in shapes you didn't know were possible, only to find that you've actually been piped into a funnel with the smallest drain hole ever and now you REALLY have to transform yourself to make it through...CONGRATULATIONS!!!

There's no better place for you to be.

You are experiencing contraction, my friend. And without it, there is no expansion. No transformation. No growth.

BREATHE.

These uncomfortable contracting times are what gives us the juice to leap forward, showing up as a new version of ourselves to then again bask in the light of expansion. It is THE time for self-reflection ~ questioning beliefs, habits, values, wants, needs, desires, relationships, everything that needs to be re-evaluated for who you are becoming.

If you think you can cast a light without creating any shadows you must be reminded of the nature of Yin and Yang. One cannot exist without the other.

Flowing with the cycles in the spiral of life and watching how you move through the changes is where your real power lies! Each time you learn deeper and deeper compassion, grace, and forgiveness for yourself and others. You learn that it's okay to feel everything inside of you that is BEGGING to be felt, seen, heard, loved, alchemized into healing.

Only when we do this for ourselves can we show up this way for others. And this, my world fam, is how we change our collective reality.

So plant yourself in your proper environment, accept all the light and nourishment that is rightfully meant for you, let your roots outstretch to connect with the whole, and watch yourself rise higher while sinking deeper, until one day....BLOOM!

And then, when the time is right. Drop your petals, release your new seeds, fold back into your safe foundation, and get to alchemizing all that you learned while you let your beauty be seen by the world.

Trusting that the cycle will begin again and that the more places you plant your seeds and establish your roots the more places you can grow and bloom!

And when you REALLY need to transform, trust that you can tap into the wisdom energy of the collective, compost into your transitional mush, and take a new form. If you're struggling to see your wings, trust that they are and always have been a part of you!

How can you embrace your deepest depths and your highest highs this Capricorn season?! There's nothing like the healing of some Mermaid-Goat Magic!!
